About Me

Hi! My name is Anna and I'm 22 years old. I'm third year Politics and International Relations student at the University of Kent.
Apart from Politics and International Relations, I also did one year long Economics module and last year I took a module in Law.
I'm Czech and basically all my life I lived in Prague, Czech's capital. In my last year of high school I knew I wanted to study abroad even though it would be a challenge for me. I put all my effort in it, worked hard to get good marks and succeeded in being accepted to Kent, which was my first choice.
Since I came to Kent two years ago, my life changed completely and even though it has never been easy, I love every challenge and enjoy my student life to bits.

I'm very active within the university, I try to attend every event I possibly can, be part of different societies on the campus, volunteer and explore new things.

Among others, I'm member of these societies on campus: Model United Nations, Current Affairs and Politics Society. I also regularly contribute to INQUIRE, university newspaper.
I actively volunteer for the University of Kent Community Against Human Trafficking, where we strive to raise awareness about modern day slavery, forced labour, exploitation and human trafficking.

What I study is also my biggest interest. Apart from Politics and current issues, I love fashion and good food. I enjoy writing and blogging has recently been my hobby number one. I love everything about media and that is also where I would like to have my future job. If you are interested, you can check my personal blog here.

If you have any questions regarding University of Kent, student life, course information or just anything that interests you, please, do not hesitate to ask.
